These terms govern your use of tessaoilandspices.com and any order you place with us.

Who you are buying from

This store is operated by Tessa Oil and Spices, trading as Tessa Oil & Spices, at 5, Joseph flour & oil mill, Madurai main road, Fathimanagar, Trichy-620012, Tamilnadu, India. We are the seller and merchant of record for every order.

Products

• All prices are in Indian Rupees and inclusive of applicable GST.
• Net quantity, ingredients, allergens, country of origin and best-before information are shown on each product page and on the pack.
• Our oils are unrefined and our powders are ground in small batches, so colour, aroma and sediment vary naturally between batches. This is a characteristic of the product, not a defect.
• Our products are foods. They are not medicines and we make no therapeutic or medicinal claims about them.

Orders and payment

• Placing an order on the website reserves it but does not confirm it. An order is confirmed only once we have received your payment, by UPI or bank transfer arranged over WhatsApp, or through an online payment provider where one is offered.
• The price you pay is always the price calculated by our server at the moment you check out.
• If an item becomes unavailable after you order, we will contact you and refund that item in full.
• We may cancel and refund an order where we detect an obvious pricing error or suspected fraud.

Delivery, returns and refunds

These are covered by our Shipping Policy and Returns, Refunds & Cancellation Policy, which form part of these terms.

Storage and use

Store oils and powders in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, and use a dry spoon. We are not liable for spoilage caused by improper storage after delivery.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006. Subject to that, our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at 5, Joseph flour & oil mill, Madurai main road, Fathimanagar, Trichy-620012, Tamilnadu, India shall have jurisdiction.
